Anonymous asked: This sentence "However, Koreans do not take it seriously, for Korea finally reached the point where they cannot believe others’ proposal. It’s sad, and I know, that Koreans are much more rotten than Americans. I didn’t know I was like that until I moved to America" is kinda confusing. Do you mind explaining? Thanks!
Sorry for bringing confusion. How should I explan this? … ok….. I was bandwagoning the statement. Yes there are some koreans who only focuses on main topic and reactions of it without properly investigating on an actual event and attempting to figure out what really happened. I say they are rude, because they relently believe in one opinion or rumor, and then they tend to agree that rumor without actually knowing.
But really, korea is going through harsh time: president who breaks promises, north korea and succesion of dictatorship, economoc hardship, etc. Because the surrounding events have gone downsided, koreans have become unreliable on others. Im guessing the word, “anxiety.” Also between fandoms, because they have been so many “wars,” we have become enemies. All is from my perception, and I don’t know if this qould answer your question. All I’m saying does not represent as whole, but korean netizens are now used to send rather ugly comments and posts without relizing what they are really doing, and what they could cause. For some korean netizens, leaving commebts like, “fuck you” or “kill yourself” is very common. If you actually visit Nate.com, koreab website, and look at the comments, you will know how harsh they can be.
There are always people who oppose rude netizens. But people, and even news companies focus too much on negative perspective.
When I said “rude koreans,” I meant the people who offend others without trying to get the truth, only to criticize for fun, and simply dobt kbow what they are doing.
Hope this helps. :)
